Thank you so much Venus Williams for this wonderful quote and reminder! The same amount of time and energy I spend doubting myself can and should be replaced with believing in myself. When I found this quote I replaced my doubt with belief. I had to tell myself everyday so I would belive it. Doubt can be disguised in different forms and figures. It can be darkness or light. There are levels. So I continue to match my doubt and raise my belief. I recently slipped into a puddle of doubt that had me walking around with wet shoes for weeks. Today I stood up and took those wet shoes off. And put on dry pair. I changed my atmosphere that quick. I am in control. I am getting over being ashamed of having to remind myself of that consistently. I accept that about me. I haven't been the nicest to myself during this time. This outlet helps me heal.
