Today is such a bittersweet day. It's the closing of "The Wiz" at The Fulton Theater. Last year when I decided to quit my day job and pursue theater full time I had no idea where I would end up. Getting cast in THE WIZ at the Fulton Theater was huge. I knew I was about to embark on a life changing journey but I had no idea how huge the impact would be. My life is changed forever. I've fallen in love with my wonderful and extremely talented cast. It was an unexpected and now an overwhelming connection that we formed and it will be hard to say goodbye. I guess I have to get use to forming bonds with people for a matter of weeks or months before saying goodbye for possible forever. Well maybe not forever but for now. I got to work beside and become friends with someone I watched on TV growing up. Someone who inspired me to be here today! Love you PB! I got to experience THE WIZ professionally with one of my very best friends and my fiancé! I gained new personal relationships that I wasn't ready for or expecting! And now I'm preparing to do another production of THE WIZ in a few weeks. A shorter run. A shorter time to bond with people before we say goodbye. It's so hard to say goodbye. What a Dream this has been. All dreams come to an end but the next one is already within arms reach! I'm forever grateful to the people who made this possible! Thank you to my production team! The cast, crew, backstage, everyone! I love you all! And I'll never forget what we have done together!! I've gained some lifelong friends. And some friends who have become family 💚💚
Have A Major Day
