There are strange things happening every day. Some good some bad. Tis Life. New Day New Opportunity. Time to choose my positive attitude and take all that this day has to offer me. I saw The Color Purple for the second time last night and I was throughly moved yet again. I'm so connected to this story. In each adaptation I find myself engulfed from start to finish. The Book, Film, Musical, and now Movie Musical. Have all been able to capture me and whisk me away on hard fought journey with Miss Celie. She embodies so much pain, love, and forgiveness! She is hope. When she curses Mister and tells him everything done to her already been done to him. And lets him know that she may be poor black and ugly but she is here! MY GOD! Move me. Move me right! Out of mind out of sight
